TypeErrors and 500 error after recent update

(Jay Pfaffman) #1

I just did an upgrade a couple hours ago and now there are a bunch of 500 errors.

I also tweaked db_work_mem, but that seems to have improved CPU usage. Could this be a bug?

You sure this isn’t garden variety third party plugin incompatibility? It looks that way from your errors.

(Jay Pfaffman) #3

I doubt it:

        - git clone https://github.com/discourse/discourse-spoiler-alert.git
          - git clone https://github.com/discourse/discourse-cakeday.git
          - git clone https://github.com/discourse/discourse-adplugin.git
          - git clone https://github.com/discourse/discourse-patreon.git

I’ll remove ads and patreon, though, as they aren’t in use anyway.

Could it be some CSS that’s just now causing problems? (No changes there since Aug 25).

Yeah i’m pretty sure almost everyone is experiencing this problem.

I just updated my personal site and I see no 500 errors. How do I repro this?

(Jay Pfaffman) #6

I don’t know. It’s intermittent. It could be load-related, but I can’t make sense of that either.

Well, meta runs latest tests passed and I’m not seeing it here either.
