# Umlauts are NOT handled correctly for attached files in Safari

Leaving this open cause the OP is still a problem that was reproed by @Falco, very likely a Safari quirk but it needs investigating.

Well, as you can see in #9 and #10 [Umlauts are NOT handled correctly for attached files in Safari - #10 by Bas](https://meta.discourse.org/t/umlauts-are-not-handled-correctly-for-attached-files-in-safari/78585/10) he is not the only one with this issue.

On #18 I’m talking solely about service worker related bugs.

As you can see in #11 I can repro the Umlauts bug in stable Safari too 😉
