# Não é possível adicionar nova enquete a tópico com enquete pública

If a topic has an existing poll with `public=true` set, you cannot edit the topic to add new polls. When attempting to save the topic after adding a new poll the following error is received:
```plaintext
Poll named has votes and cannot be made public.
```
