# Unable to Grant Admin to user

I am unable to grant admin access to a user. The user I attempt to grant Admin access to receives the email containing the link, however when I click the link it brings up this page and the admin access is not given.

Let me know if there is any other information I can provide that would be helpful. Also of note, the user I am trying to give access to was migrated over from a Vanilla forum (v3.3) into my discourse instance.

The user shouldn’t be getting the ‘confirm admin’ email, that should be sent to the admin granting the permissions.

Are you logged into the right account when you click on the ‘confirm admin’ link you receive?

OMG I’m a goof. Yes that was it! I am in now that I accepted it from the original admin user session.
