Unable to Install Discourse

Minecraft_Ciach is having trouble completing the installation of Discourse on a DigitalOcean Droplet. The issue is with ports 443 and 80 not being accessible, and the subdomain dscourse.ciach795.com is proxied through Cloudflare. Minecraft_Ciach has checked the firewall settings, which appear to allow incoming traffic on the required ports.

itsbhanusharma suggested that the Cloudflare proxy is the cause of the problem, recommending to either disable it or find a way to use it with Discourse. Minecraft_Ciach confirmed that this solution worked for them. pfaffman noted that the proxy issue could have been highlighted more clearly in the initial message.

Hello,
I just bought a Droplet on DigitalOcean, preinstalled with Discourse. The problem is that I cannot complete the installation. When I enter the domain, it says that the ports 443 and 80 are not accessible. The subdomain used is dscourse.ciach795.com, proxied through Cloudflare. When I enter the subdomain, it reads as follows:

WARNING: Port 443 of computer does not appear to be accessible using hostname: dscourse.ciach795.com.
WARNING: Connection to http://dscourse.ciach795.com (port 80) also fails.

The subdomain configured in Cloudflare:
[Image hidden due to an exposed IP address. The problem was now solved.]
If i enter the command sudo ufw status verbose, it reads as follows:

Status: active
Logging: on (low)
Default: allow (incoming), allow (outgoing), deny (routed)
New profiles: skip

Thanks for any help!

This is why is isn’t working. Disable cloudflare proxy or search for how to use the cloudflare with discourse.

Thank you! It seems that this reply was the solution for my problem.

Didn’t the next part of that message mention that a proxy could be a problem?

Is there something that the message should have said to let you know what the problem was?
