Depending upon how you enabled the read only mode, here is some help:

It depends on how you trigger readonly mode. There is a list of keys that you can pass to Postgres depending on how you trigger it

If you can ssh into the site host, try this : ./launcher enter app rails c Discourse.disable_readonly_mode
