# Unable to message email address to create staged user anymore

I’m not sure what is happening here, but as of yesterday I and my colleagues are finding that we are no longer able to message email addresses to create staged users. Type a username in the message addressee box and it autocompletes. Type in an email address and it does not.

This is happening on two forums I run, both with staged users enabled and previously working.

Also cleaned up our internal API a bit.
