# Unable to override template using plugin

Hi there!

I’m using the latest beta version of Discourse and trying to create a plugin similar to:

[https://github.com/muhlisbc/discourse-custom-activity-summary-template](https://github.com/muhlisbc/discourse-custom-activity-summary-template)

The plugin gets activated (I can see it in admin panel) but it does not override the template.

Would you have any ideas why? How can I debug this further?
