# Unable to set a Featured Topic

I keep receiving this error when I try to set a Featured Topic on my profile.

Could someone help me out, what am I doing wrong.

Is the topic in a category that not everyone is allowed to see?

I think you cannot choose a topic that not everyone is allowed to see

Yes, everyone is allowed to view it I guess.

The channel has a lock icon next to it.

Usually, the lock icon indicates that the permission to see the category is restricted. As an admin, you can check the category permissions in the category settings.
