When using the Transcript feature, where does the transcription go?

I was recently testing out the feature and one of the participants (not me) tried it out but then was unable to find the transcript anywhere. The announcement post says ‘topic draft’ but when I checked (Impersonating that user’s account there were no drafts).

**Ask Discourse** says this, which doesn’t match anything I can find here in this thread, and I’m fairly sure is inaccurate:

Generally speaking topic drafts in Discourse are continuously saved automatically server-side, so that draft wouldn’t be ephemeral and lost if the browser/tab is closed.
