# Unique invite code/link to assign role

Is there a way to generate one-time use invite links/codes that I can give to specific people that will automatically put them in a specific group?  
Sometimes you meet a certain VIP and want to give them access to a private forum. But, getting them to register, then sending over their (correct) username, then manually putting them in a group, can be tedious at times.

What do you mean by role?  
You can limit the use of an invite and set groups which the user should join at sign up.

Ah yes, I meant Groups, but it’s all the same; just spending too much time on Discord 🙂
