# Unique post min settings issue

I have changed the setting of unique\_posts\_mins to 1 minute but then also I am able to post with same content within 1 minute.

Are you an admin? most settings that restrict posting do not apply to admin accounts.

No I am not the admin.And also I am using this api https://{defaultHost}/posts.json and when i send new comment with same content then in response i get the same topic id for that new comment.
