Hi. No we abandoned that idea. In the end we adopted a ‘special’ category ‘Announcements’. In that category we created topics for each type of announcement (call ; events ; jobs) to be shared in the community and restricted the creation of new topics. If somebody wants to share an announcement, one can reply in the corresponding topic. This way, the Latest front-page is not filled with 1-post announcement topics but max. 3 recurring topics with each reply posted.
