# Unsolved filter to remove topics from subcategory without solved

Hi,

i have a subcategory without the ability to mark a post as a solution. When i filter the parent category for `solved=no` it includes all the topics of the child category.

Is there anyway to change the logic to assume a topic which cannot be solved (in a category without the feature enabled) is assumed to be solved and not unsolved?
