Continuing the discussion from [Discourse 2.6.0.beta1 Release Notes](https://meta.discourse.org/t/discourse-2-6-0-beta1-release-notes/155837):

Seems like it’s been a looonnnggg time since I updated to 2.6.0.beta1. But that also seems the latest tag. Summer doldrums or change in how often there are releases?
(Is it expected that I can’t use select then hit the QUOTE button when using the start-a-linked-topic?)

Correct, 2.6.0.beta1 is the latest release. There have been plenty of changes since June 24th, we just haven’t cut a new release. No particular reason.

In case you (or someone else readig) don’t know, you can upgrade if you want and get what’s new. I know one site that, at least for a time, would do an upgrade every day.

This assumes you’re tracking `tests-passed`, which is the default for a site following the [official install](https://meta.discourse.org/t/142537?silent=true). This will not work if you manually changed to track `beta` (not recommended).
