# Update fab icons

how can update the fab icons in my discourse? I think have the old version and I want to update to the new one with new icons. How I can do that?

Yes but how can I put this in my sidebar also it’s possible put specific color for a link in my sidebar?

what do you mean in your sidebar? can you be more specific? do you mean the custom link sections? the links at the top?

Here the example:

Just add icons to the svg settings in admin site settings `svg icon subset` then pick it in the icon picker of the custom menu modal.
