# Update Failing: column "require\_message" does not exist

I’m pretty sure that this is a bug. I suspect that it has to do with a migration getting removed from some commit so that future migrations fail because `require_message` isn’t in the table, similar to [Restore failing with missing chat\_mention function](https://meta.discourse.org/t/restore-failing-with-missing-chat-mention-function/331376)
