# Upgrading Ember

Judging by the Gemfile, it looks like Discourse is running Ember 2.13.3. This isn’t an LTS version, and the nearest LTS version has been EOL for a while. So is there a plan to upgrade to the last 2.x LTS version, if not Ember 3.x?

Don’t stress - We’re aware, and we’re working on it. 🙂
There’s a lot of work that go into an upgrade like this - and we need to be absolutely sure we have parallel performance here, but it is already on our radar
