The os is probably also beyond end of life.

I would spin up a fresh vm and [Move a Discourse site to another VPS with rsync](https://meta.discourse.org/t/move-a-discourse-site-to-another-vps-with-rsync/43812).

That way if something does go badly wrong the old site can keep running.
