Upload image uses relative path

(marioMAN) #1

Hello guys
we starting having this problem.
when we upload an image we get the relative path
<img src="/original/3X/f/1/f1d488107a826cf9f6eaa9cae254f4dc9ab3add4.png" width="200" height="200">

instead of

<img src="//discourse-meta.s3-us-west-1.amazonaws.com/original/3X/6/1/616f70784fda0b8981fb00ac101db11d518a2eb2.png" width="200" height="200">

this breaks the images in the embedded posts.
I have checked and checked and I dont remember changing anything.

we are running v1.6.0.beta5 +2 and we are not fully sure when did this began to happen

Did you disable uploads to s3 by any chances?

it is not activated. but I think that’s the default behavior because I dont see it as “changed”

By default we don’t upload to S3 so images are uploaded locally to /original/....

Ohh now I know what you mean!
the example I took was locally (meta.discourse.com) since I cannot reproduce in our setup anymore.

What I meant is like 2 weeks ago uploads were https://ourdaomin.com/uploads/… now when I try to upload and image is just /uploads/… so the comments that are embedded show broken images because the forum and the website run in different doomains.

I hope now is a bit clearer
