# Upload Large Video

Hey team.
I was wondering if there is a way to override the setting that stops me from uploading large (500+ MB) video clips to my site?
When attempting to upload, I am told that I should use a hosting service for these clips. However, that is not something I want to do. So back to the question, is there a way to override the hard limit?

I am not sure that is the setting. I can upload large images without issue, but for video, a message pops up recommending to post on YouTube or the like.
I am remote right now, but I can get the exact error when I get home.

Yes, exactly that. Also worth saying that the description of the one visible in the admin UI mentions it the other one.

Is this solutions because of rails/docker/something else? Yeah, I don’t understand how things are working because I’m coming from WordPress/PHP-world 😉
Well, my app.yml doesn’t have that option but it is just minor editing job, if I need bigger limits someday.
