In categories with ActivityPub enabled, some topics aren’t published via ActivityPub, while some are.  
Is published:

If you take a look at the topic that isn’t published, you can click on the ActivityPub logo with a slash, and it should say ‘Note was not published via ActivityPub’. If you then look at where the link icon is, there is nothing there. When you click on the button to copy the link, you actually copy ‘null’ into your clipboard.  
I suggest that if it isn’t being published, the link icon and the button to copy it should not be there.
