# Use Caddy instead of NGINX as your reverse proxy

This worked great for setting up caddy as a reverse proxy, thank you!

Be advised, I also configured [crowdsec + appsec for caddy using this gude](https://www.crowdsec.net/blog/secure-caddy-crowdsec-remediation-waf-guide). The default install of crowdsec binds to port 8080, so I had to change the app.yml to expose a different port, and then similarly in Caddyfile to reverse proxy to that different port.
