# Use template as new topic not working in Docs

Hello,

The composer not opening in Docs and show error in console.

**Repro**

1. Go to a topic in /docs which contains this button ![Screenshot 2021-10-17 at 8.33.47](https://global.discourse-cdn.com/meta/original/3X/8/1/81fdd7e80f51c327f9813153bd943788ebb83daf.png) for example this one: [Writing an effective bug report - Contributing - Discourse Meta](https://meta.discourse.org/docs?category=10&topic=183671)

2. Click the button and the composer will not open.

3. Check the console it will show errors ⬇

Confirmed, we struggled with decorate posts quite a lot in docs. We certainly want to improve this.

I just made a fix which should allow the theme component to work within discourse-docs. We might need better fixes directly in discourse-docs in the future, but that should be enough for now.

Please update your discourse-reply-template-theme-component and let me know how it goes.
