# Use translated posts when emailing users with their user language set

Hey folks, we’ve added support for translated content in notification and activity summary emails - [FEATURE: Use translated content in notification and digest emails - Pull Request #44240 - discourse/discourse - GitHub](https://github.com/discourse/discourse/pull/44240). You’ll have to update your instances.

When content localization is enabled, these emails use available translations in your selected language, respecting your automatic translation preference and the languages you understand. If a translation isn’t available or a post’s translation is out of date (we use post versions to map), we’ll use the original content.
