# 用户会被通知其帖子被删除吗？

I couldn’t find this. I don’t think it does alert anyone… would this be worth adding as a notification?

I believe we don’t send notifications for deletions for the same reason we don’t send notifications for demotions.

If the deletion is notification worthy (really bad post) do it using a flag and the user will be notified.

@neil is adding a PM notification when a _flagged_ post is deleted, for educational purposes.
