# User reporting unable to hide presence

The below user has indeed disabled presence features in his profile, but he still sees the online dot (and I do too):

The presence features have been merged into core, as far as I’m aware?

“presence” in core refers to the “replying…” indicator. The green dots are part of my whos-online plugin.

Currently that plugin doesn’t respect the new profile setting, but it shouldn’t be too hard to add it. I might be able to add support at some point this week.
