# Users Identified by First Name

Is it possible to force users to be identified by their first name (or first and last name), NOT their username? If so, please provide quick steps on where to adjust that setting. Thank you!

I do appreciate your response, but unfortunately, I am not seeing any difference after toggling this setting off and saving it.

This difference is which name is prioritized. For example, the reply indicator shows me I am replying to “Tim” and not to “HisFocus”.

Maybe you want the full name to be required at sign-up?
