Users in Trust Levels are not meeting criteria

(Holly Ross) #1

We have a user in our version os Discourse that is in the Trust Level 3 group. Per our admin settings, one of the requirements for Trust Level 3 is receiving 20 likes. The user has not received ANY likes, but is still in Trust Level 3.

There are several other examples in the quick scan I did of users who are not the right Trust Level groups.

Has anyone else also experienced this?

Are you sure someone didn’t grant it to him? Does his account show him locked into TL 3? As that is usually a sign that someone granted the user that TL.

If you look at that members Admin page (not the TL3 requirements page) under Activity, does their
Likes Given / Received # / #
also show 0 Likes received?

A members Profile page Summary Stats will deduct Likes received from posts that were either Deleted or hidden by community Flagging, those on the Admin page will not.

Hey @cpradio - thanks for that tidbit. There is a lock:

So this means that Level 3 was given to this person by a moderator for some reason? Do you know if there is any way to reset all user trust levels?

Thanks,
Holly

Yes that user was locked at TL3 by a staff member. You can check the logs tab to see who it was and when.

I think it would be easier to visit /admin/users/list/regular and walk your way through the list. There are hopefully not very many that have reached TL 3.
