# Users should be able to interact in threads they authored even if moved to TL-gated categories

do note that there may be edge cases to this - if a category were protected with the intent of being some archive of e.g. moderated posts (?), for example. that said, i’m not too familiar with how Discourse works, just trying to think if this idea might be less straight-forward.
