# Users view: Today - Can't figure out why it doesn't show

Sometimes I see the option for Today, sometimes I don’t. Can’t figure out why it’s not always there.

It depends which report you are looking at.

Yes, I think I’m in the same place… Hamburger menu\>Users. I’m seeing it this am, last night per screenshot, I’m not.

I think this is because you don’t have any top topic today.

The list of periods comes from `site.periods` which itself comes from [discourse/app/models/site.rb at main · discourse/discourse · GitHub](https://github.com/discourse/discourse/blob/master/app/models/site.rb#L86) if I’m not mistaken.
