As @MarcP suggested, the new [Doc Categories plugin](https://meta.discourse.org/t/discourse-doc-categories/322376) would perfectly address my main challenge here.

Already talking with @RGJ @michaeld about whether this new plugin will be available in Communiteq anytime soon.
