# Using Fork Awesome

Hi!
Is it possible to use [Fork Awesome](https://forkaweso.me/Fork-Awesome/) instead of Font Awesome.
They have not so many icons as Font Awesome, but they the icons I need.

At a glance this looks like a fork of the previous version of Font Awesome (v4)… Font Awesome 4 used a font to show icons, and we’ve since moved to displaying SVG files instead… so you won’t easily be able to replace the current set of icons with a font.
What you could do is download the source Fork Awesome SVG files and [Replace Discourse's default SVG icons with custom icons in a theme](https://meta.discourse.org/t/replace-discourses-default-svg-icons-with-custom-icons-in-a-theme/115736).
