AI bot communicates using PM. But I can see menu for different personas only when used robot-icon on the header. Is there a way to use personas when the icon is disabled? The actual issue I’m trying to solve out is common layout glitch. My android users are complaining because there isn’t enough room between logo and icons and that’s why icons and the hamburger drops down to next row and breaks layout — because there is category navbar etc. [IMG_2354] My iPhone shows everything right, though. But the header is a bit crowded now indeed. So using AI bot purely through PM would be a solution, but easy access is missing, or I just can’t. Of course I could disable category banner too, but I’m used to use it :winking_face_with_tongue:

[image] Jagster: So what are my options to offer easy route to AIs from the sidebar? This is trivial now :hugs: SITNAME/discourse-ai/ai-bot/conversations Then hide from header with CSS or something.

Layout issue is solved, or reason for it is solved: if font size of Discourse is larger than normal the layout will not love it. And that wasn’t the reason. Plus few other android-users see the layout just fine. I’m trying to find out what is phone and browser (I would guess Samsung… it is always Samsung ) Edit: another mobileuser on desktop mode. It defenetly should be an option at user settings. But still… can we use personas without robot-icon? Or is this just part of dev procesess (btw, I did rebuilding this morning and AI helper for tags etc disappeared, but small popup is there — but that is another story)

And now in 2025 this is a questionmark again, because we got AI-localization and now up there isn’t any free space I can’t move AI discussions purely behind ordinary PM-route, because no one can’t remember name of AI personas. And private chats aren’t an option at all. So what are my options to offer easy route to AIs from the sidebar? Move localization-button/function instead to the sidebar for log in users, because it is lesser used? Well, I don’t know how to use that either. I know the component (sorry, I forgot the name of it) that changes languages from the footer of the sidebar. But that area is really crowded too and it doesn’t offer language menu.

That I have nowadays, as a link. I didn’t put the whole form inside the sidebar because of space issue. And comparing message style and what that form gives, the difference is quite big. [IMG_2661] The toolbar is unnecessary but having a stamp size box or more common editorsize is matter of… nicer and more friendly touch, perhaps

And the solution was closer than I expected: AI bot enable dedicated UX

Valid point. I didn`t remeber that, beeing a DiscourseHub user, I don’t use it. But I gave to it a testflight.
