Version 1.0.1 not advertised by Discourse hub

(Michael - DiscourseHosting.com) #1

I just saw version 1.0.1 is available in Github, but http://api.discourse.org/api/version_check returns

{"success":"OK","latestVersion":"1.0.0"}

Is this working differently since 1.0, or was the counter not updated somehow?

Doesn’t this depend which channel you are on?

I think we have a bit more work to do here.

And the UI should probably show what channel you are on, too.

Well, as I understand from Release schedule post version 1.0, everybody on 1.0.0 should at least get a notification if 1.0.1 is available, since it contains important security fixes…

Looking at the code: no, there doesn’t seem to be a dependancy on the channel.

Yeah I’ll be making changes for this.

This problem should be fixed now. Sorry! :blush:
