# Video in categories description?

Hello all.

I would like to put a video link in the description of a category, so that it shows up as the first thing people see when they select that category. I tried looking through the threads but couldn’t find anything. Is this possible, and if so, how?

Edit the category description and put the link to the video in?

I tried that, but the video doesn’t show up when you open the category page - you have to click on the description to see it.

Hi.  
Did you find a way to sort this? I want to embed videos in the some posts for students to watch and the comment on.

You should be able to have videos in posts without much, if any, trouble.

I think what Francesca is wanting is for “thumbnail” videos in topic lists.

There is this, but AFAIK, it is only for images not videos
