@angus, is it okay with you if I make a PR to use the [third-party library](https://github.com/vocaroo/simple-audio-recorder) that @peter.be used in his plugin? The library uses the [`AudioContext`](https://developer.mozilla.org/fr/docs/Web/API/AudioContext) API instead, so the output can be converted to MP3 in a web worker. This way, the playback seems more universally supported in the devices.
