# Vote from outside the topic

I’d like to make possible to vote from outside the topic. Is it possible to move the button to the side of the list of topics in a category?

I don’t think it’s a good idea to allow your users to vote on a topic solely based on the title…

If they are indeed interested in casting a vote they should at the _very_ least read the first post of the topic!
