# Watching First Post also send notification on new reply?

Just got email notifications on all those topics

I thought they are new topics and what to check the update details than found it was just new reply/close topic action.

As the description says, I wouldn’t get notified when replies are created. Am I understanding it wrong or it’s a bug?

It’s because those topics had a category change, and were moved into #feature:announcements (so are a new topic for that category).
