# Way to add age disclaimer to login page?

Is there a way to add language to the login/ create new account page? I want to highlight that users need to be 13 years old or older when they’re creating their account. I recognize that it’s in the ToS, but would like to make that even easier to see.

You can customize the text from` /admin/customize/site_texts` and add it to the disclaimer , for example

and/or you can create a required custom user field from `/admin/customize/user_fields`, for example

Follow up question – is there instead a way to create an “age gate”, where we would ask for the user’s birthdate and not allow the creation of an account if younger than 13?

Sorry to bump an old thread.

I would also like to restrict access to my community for anyone under 18 years old.

Any advice?
