[Discourse Workflows](https://meta.discourse.org/t/discourse-workflows/407100) are a new way to build powerful, multi-step automations directly in Discourse.
Join us for **Exploring Discourse Workflows** , a practical deep dive into what Workflows can do and how you might use them in your own community.
We’ll cover:
- A technical overview of Workflows and how the building blocks fit together
- Real-world examples of Workflows in action
- Ideas and inspiration for spotting things you could automate in your own community
- Creative ways to think beyond the obvious and put Workflows to use
Whether you already have a Workflow in mind or you’re wondering where to start, you’ll leave with a better understanding of what’s possible and a few ideas to experiment with in your own community.

I’d love to see how to replicate the functionality of the “Schedule a PM with [Data Explorer](https://meta.discourse.org/t/32566?silent=true) Results” automation script (such as unsolved discussions, new posts that need a response from a category expert, etc). I currently have dozens of them, one per team (per type), and would love to consolidate them into a 1-2 workflows.
