Weird bug in Safari 6.0.5

(Ronteras) #1

Pretty often when I refresh Safari (Cmd+R) I get this (messed header, cannot scroll down etc.) and needs 4-5 or more refresh to get it back to normal:
But it’s fine on any other browser on mac. Other users with safaris on their mac reported the same. Any advice what might cause this?

Are you mixing RTL languages in? Could be a bug with Safari and RTL on Mac.

(Ronteras) #3

No, that is Georgian, left to right.

Wow, interesting, did not recognize it at all.

Need to bone up on my language identification skills: The 34 Languages of McDonald's

Yep, you don’t see or hear much about this language/country on the net :).

My question is… do you notice this same issue on other discourse forums? (Notably latin script only ones)

(Ronteras) #7

No, at least not on Meta.

my friend has a similar issue on our czech forum. It happens from time to time but regularly enough to be annoying. Most often it happens on topic detail. The whole body of the topic (usually only the first entry) gets bold, attempts to scroll down end up in flittering, no scrolling. Several refreshes heal the problem and then it happens again on a different topic after some time.

Still seeing this @ronteras?

Nope it’s gone in OSX 10.9/Last safari update. Can’t confirm in the previous versions.
