# Weird markdown bug when using inline links with title

(Aahan Krish) #1

Example:

``````Welcome to Aahan's [discussion forum](https://discourse.aahan.me/), the one place for discussing the articles posted to [his blog](http://aahan.me/ "Aahan's Blog") (and more in the future).
``````

Parses as:

Welcome to Aahan’s discussion forum, the one place for discussing the articles posted to his blog (and more in the future).

Hmm, interesting edge case, here’s the minimal repro:

`[link1](http://example.com) this text should appear [link2](http://example.com "example") and this text also`

produces

link1 this text should appear link2 and this text also

It has to do with two links on the same line, with the second link including title text.

Workaround:

1. Make both links include title text
2. Drop title text from 2nd link
3. Do not put both links on the same line

Edit: this is now fixed.
