# What about embedding video as background for users cards

Would be great if we cloud use Youtube video as background for profile cards ?

Why can’t the user convert the video to an animated gif? Animated gifs are supported (I think)

yes they are,  
Is there limits on GIFS abaut duration and sound ?  
Also generating GIF is kind hard to everyday users.

Only upload size (to my knowledge). Sound probably isn’t feasible either.  
And converting a video to gif is as easy as using imgur

What about the 🎵 why do you hate fun so much! 😉

On a more serious note @adopilot no there is no way to do this, nor is it planned as a core feature, you would have to build a plugin if you wanted this user card extravaganza party.
