# What are "page views" in Discourse.org hosting?

The hosting tiers each have a target number of pages views. If someone is already hosting their own instance and considering migrating, where would they look to find the current value of this number as interpreted by the hosting team?

You can use the `API Requests` in your admin menu to compare.
Having said that, feel free to send us an email if you are close to the limit. I know in the past we’ve been more concerned when people go _WAY OVER_ the limit and we’d love to work something out!

Thanks! There are also metrics for things like 200s/400s/500s so was wondering how that was being considered.
