# What are these "/topics/timings" ongoing XHRs?

`Version v1.3.0.beta9 +25`

When browsing topics, I see regular XHRs to `/poll` and `/timings` - what is the later for? Should CDNs care? I don’t see an equivalent setting `long polling base url` for timings.

`/poll` is for the message bus and `/timings` is for monitoring your posts/topics reading times.
