I just wondering what cause the Backup file size so big.
So i got 100 Topic in my forum and it has only 3MB of uploads(images,etc)
I do backup yesterday and it has 16MB of file size which is kinda big for an plain text.
another weird thing is that yesterday backup size was 16MB and today the backup filesize is 14.6MB
Download the backup and you can inspect the individual file sizes.
The biggest file is .sql file about 60MB
and today i backed up again and the size 30MB, i dont have idea why
You can open the “huge” SQL file and check the contents. It’s a standard pg_dump file, it should be human readable.
This sizes are pretty standard, so I wouldn’t worry too much about it, but you have all the tools to check it if you wanna dig.
