# 你们都称你们的 Discourse 论坛为什么？

在我的论坛上，我（现在想想，偶尔也有其他用户）有时会在一些帖子中不加思索地使用“Discourse”这个词。但对 IT 知识了解不多的用户可能会感到困惑，所以我们（我和我的社区）通常称它为“论坛”。

虽然我们在 2017 年迁移到了 Discourse，但这个论坛本身历史悠久：创建于 2004 年，一直以来都被社区称为“论坛”。

不过，想到这一点也挺有趣的……对于大量使用社交网络（当然还有 Facebook 群组）的年轻一代来说，“论坛”有时被视为互联网远古时代的产物。

此外，一些现代论坛引擎在社区平台的子域名中也不会使用“forum”一词。例如：

[https://discuss.flarum.org/](https://discuss.flarum.org/)
