# Wat betekent "Old post stuck"?

We have encountered this is in a couple of topics in our forum. In between posts is a post notice that says “Old post stuck” accompanied by the user shield icon. This notice shows to all users. The parent topic is not that old and was created 4 days ago.

I can’t for the life of me figure out what this is trying to communicate. Can anyone explain it?

If you’re an admin you can go to `admin > logs > staff actions` and search for `staff note` in the filters to see who set it.

I was able to track down the admin that has been adding these notes and will let them know that these are public notes. That’s one way to find out about Discourse functionality 😀
