Originally, I could enter an email address into an invite and the system would fire off an invitation message. Now, I only get a link; no automated invite message.
Is this a setting that changed? A functionality change? Either way, it’s a really time suck/pain in the ass.

Why was this functionality taken away? This really makes me want to switch platforms.
Hi Christopher! Thanks for the feedback. Just select the “Invite just one email address”, type in the email address and then select Save and Send Email.
If you don’t see these options, then maybe you’re on a different version of Discourse? Can you share a screenshot so we can be sure we’re looking at the same thing?
